About IDNLink

IDNLink.info was created by Afilias Limited in the summer of 2004 in order to promote discussion and education about Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). The site, created as a Web-log by nature, seeks to aggregate information from around the globe regarding current and future implementations of IDN products and services as well as the technical challenges and possibilities as a result of these implementations.

Afilias has recruited experienced academics and professionals from across the globe as “bloggers” for the IDNLink.info site. The “bloggers” will continue to keep the IDNLink.info community up-to-date on IDN-related news and start meaningful discussions on technical, policy and other issues.

IDNLink.info is also meant to be a resource center. Many of the links on the site contain useful technical tools to enable other TLD managers to implement IDN products for their own domain. In addition, IDNLink.info is also available to help answer questions about IDNs and their implementation.

IDNLink.info offers visitors many ways to actively get and share knowledge. Users can submit comments to blogged items to promote discussion on key topics and issues, or they can submit links, events, news, or even suggestions for new blog topics. We also welcome knowledgeable and interested people to volunteer to become a blogger and/or to contribute in any other form to the IDNLink site.

IDNLink.info is meant only to be an educational resource and is not designed to promote or advocate any one organization’s offerings. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You may use this form to contact us. Or you may choose to send us an email to: info@idnlink.info
